Everyone left the venue with a smile, especially me. Now I have money to buy medicine<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The financial assistance was provided to address the high costs associated with treating cancer and kidney diseases, which the mayor described as \u201c<em>very costly<\/em>.\u201d The beneficiaries were recommended by their respective barangays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the assistance distributed at the event, Mayor Lacuna also made it a point to personally deliver cash incentives to bedridden elderly residents by visiting them in their homes.
