Recognizing this, BDO Unibank, Inc. (BDO) and Seven Bank have renewed their partnership to better serve the needs of their loyal Kabayan customers, as well as attract new ones to their growing platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The partnership, which began in 2017, has proven to be highly successful, benefiting both institutions and their customers. After seven years of collaboration, BDO and Seven Bank are now looking to expand their partnership to offer more products and services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Masaaki Matsuhashi, President and Representative Director of Seven Bank, praised BDO for its customer-focused approach. \u201cBDO shares a common value with us at Seven Bank\u2014providing excellent customer service. BDO is passionate and proactive in offering new services, and we are excited to continue our partnership and do even more together,\u201d Matsuhashi said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The current service allows Filipino workers in Japan to easily transfer money to the Philippines through Seven Bank\u2019s International Money Transfer app on their mobile phones. This collaboration addresses a key challenge faced by many Overseas Filipinos\u2014finding time to visit banks and remittance centers during their busy work schedules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BDO Senior Vice President and head of Remittance, Genie T. Gloria, explained, \u201cThe partnership with Seven Bank has been a game changer. Now, Filipino workers can remit money 24\/7 through their mobile app and access an ATM network of 27,000 locations across Japan.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matsuhashi further highlighted the trust that Filipinos in Japan have in both BDO and Seven Bank. \u201cFor Filipinos living in Japan, BDO is a well-known and trusted brand, and Seven Bank shares that reputation. The Cash Pick-up Anywhere service also allows recipients to claim funds at over 14,000 locations nationwide, including more than 1,700 BDO branches and BDO Network Bank branches, as well as partner agents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to BDO\u2019s extensive reach, Matsuhashi emphasized the reliability of the partnership. \u201cIn the remittance industry, there are sometimes issues with transactions not being sent or received.
