PGC brings healthcare closer to Caviteños through Service Caravan in CvSU Silang

In its continuing commitment to accessible and quality healthcare, the Provincial Government of Cavite successfully conducted a medical and dental mission benefitting more than 1,700 Silangueños on April 30, at Cavite State University – Silang Campus as part of the PGC’s Cavite Service Caravan.

The one-day outreach initiative provided essential healthcare services including medical and dental consultations, Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) testing, and Electrocardiogram (ECG), ensuring that residents received proper medical attention and early detection of possible health conditions.

The activity was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Office of the Provincial Health Officer’s health team, in partnership with various offices and local stakeholders, all working together to bring vital services closer to the community. The large turnout of beneficiaries reflects the growing need for accessible healthcare services, especially in grassroots communities.

Through the Cavite Service Caravan, the Provincial Government continues to bridge gaps in essential government services—particularly in healthcare access—bringing vital assistance closer to communities while delivering not only medical support, but also compassion and hope to its constituents. — OPIO
